Father's Day

We had a great Father's Day today. Jess made an awesome breakfast for us. Then since it was 100 degrees here in central Texas I decided I wanted to stay inside and watch racing for most of the day which is exactly what I did! It was nice to have some relaxing time with my girls too! We went out to dinner and then came home and got on the web cam with Mom and Bob. It was a great day! Here are some recent pics. Summer's here!

So it's been a couple of weeks since I've posted any new pictures of the baby. She is getting so big it's crazy. Everyone tells you how they grow up so fast, but it doesn't really hit you until you're right smack in the middle of it! We are having so much fun though. We've had other parents tell us about keeping their babies inside the house for the first 3 months of their lives, but we have the opposite philosophy. Claire has already taken 4 airplane rides, has been in 3 different states, and now with her new floaty she hangs out in the pool with us. She has already figured out how to roll over onto her stomach all by herself, and she can roll up on both sides freely. She is a total rockstar. If you happen to be having a rough day, the first picture is for you. That sweet little face can only make you smile! We love you all.

Mother's Day Weekend

On Saturday we went to our neighborhood pool to cool off a bit as it was about 95 degrees out! Our friends Kyle and Michelle met us there and we had a great time. We even got Claire into the pool! I think she's going to love the water just as much as Mommy and Daddy. Today we celebrated Jessica's first Mother's Day and went down to the Zilker park botanical gardens in Austin. We walked around and took some pictures then went to the park and had a picnic. As always the pictures are below.

Havasu Trip

We had a great trip to Lake Havasu, AZ last weekend for Steven and Crystal's wedding. Claire got to meet her Great Grandparents and lots of Great Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. We saw family that I haven't seen in many years. We flew into Phoenix and stayed with Cindy and Doug then drove into Havasu the next day. The wedding was on the beach and was really nice. The reception was at Shugrues and everyone had a great time. We drove back to Phoenix on Sunday and had a BBQ at Cindy and Doug's. We can't wait to go back. Some pictures are below.
